Ear seeds

Ear seeds are tiny seeds or metal beads (sometimes plant-based, sometimes gold- or stainless-steel) placed gently on the outer ear using a small adhesive patch. You don’t pierce or break the skin and they stay on for a few days and provide gentle stimulation to ear pressure-points.
Ear seeds apply gentle pressure to specific points on the outer ear. These points are connected to small nerve pathways that communicate with the brain. When stimulated, they send signals through the nervous system that can help the body regulate itself, ease tension, and support overall balance. They’re a non-invasive way to engage the same pathways used in acupuncture, just without needles.
Ear seeds may offer gentle support for common concerns like tension, stress, sleep, focus, digestion, and overall balance. Results may vary from person to person.
Typically 3–5 days. After that, it’s good to remove them and let the skin rest a little before putting on a new set. If you want to reapply right away, you can place new seeds on the other ear. For best adhesion, apply them to clean, dry skin and try not to touch the sticky side while placing them.
No. Ear seeds sit on the surface of the skin and don’t pierce or break it. Most people feel only light pressure or nothing at all. If a point feels tender, that’s normal and usually fades as your body adjusts. If you feel discomfort, simply remove the seed.

How to use them

Clean and dry the outside of your ear. Using tweezers, place the seed on the recommended point and press gently so it adheres. Avoid touching the sticky side with your fingers.
Yes. Most people apply ear seeds at home using the guide provided in the kit. Start with a few basic points if you’re new.
Yes. Ear seeds can stay on through normal activities, but avoid rubbing the area and gently pat dry after showering.
Lift the edge of the adhesive with your fingers or tweezers and peel gently. When removing ear seeds, angle your ear downward to prevent them from slipping into the ear canal. Throw used seeds away after removal. Clean the area afterward if needed.
For best results, follow the placement guide included in your kit. If you’re new to ear seeds, start with a few well-known points before exploring others.

Safety & Practical Questions

Yes. Our adhesive tapes are latex-free and formulated to be gentle on most skin types. If you’re sensitive to adhesives, do a patch test before using.
Ear seeds are a helpful at-home acupressure tool, but they are not a replacement for acupuncture or professional treatment. Many people use them between acupuncture sessions for added support. If you’re currently seeing an acupuncturist, it’s a good idea to let them know you’re using ear seeds, they can guide you on the most appropriate points for your needs.
Ear seeds should not be used during pregnancy unless a qualified healthcare professional or licensed acupuncturist has advised it.
Ear seeds are intended for adults. For children - especially under 12 - use should only occur after consulting a pediatrician or licensed healthcare professional. Children’s skin is more sensitive, and they may remove or swallow the seeds, so safety guidance is essential.
